Program overview
The conference starts at 7 pm Tuesday August 21 and ends with the conference dinner in the evening of Friday August 24. The opening session Wednsday Aug 22 starts at 09.30.
We encourage participants to consider our post conference tours organized in cooperation with Stockholm Adventures. Tours will start Saturday morning and finish early Sunday afternoon (including transfer to Stockholm/Arlanda airport). Read more.

In conference field trip
The in conference field trip Thursday afternoon will be a combination of a boat tour in the Stockholm archipelago and a visit at Tyresta National Park south of Stockholm. The boat tour is hosted by the Archipelago Foundation (www.archipelagofoundation.se) and will include management of recreational areas in coastal environments and a visit to Nämndö Island.
The visit at Tyresta National Park is hosted by the park administration (www.tyresta.se) and will include recreation management in urban proximate wilderness areas as well as a visit to the “House of National Parks” – an exhibition which features all national parks in Sweden.
In addition to our hosts, the field trip will have guides from the Department of Environment at Stockholm County Board. The tour includes some easy hiking. Dress for outdoor activities.
